Cape Breton Loop

This is not a route for the average rider! This route starts and ends in Troy while going through areas such as Mount Pleasant, Grand Etang, Cheticamp, Wreck Cove and Pipers Glen. In total you can expect to ride over 600km.

Dynamite Trail

Explore this 21.9-km out-and-back trail that connects Mahone Bay with Martins River. It takes an average of 4 h 41 min to complete this moderately challenging route. During quiet times of the day, you can still enjoy some solitude on this trail, which is popular with mountain bikers, off-road drivers, and snowshoers. 

Sentier de Clare

A moderately challenging point-to-point trail near Weymouth, Nova Scotia, this trail stretches for 69.7 kilometers. Cross-country skiing, backpacking, and camping are popular activities on this trail. Throughout the year, you can enjoy the trail and its beauty. 

Oxford to Pugwash

This 29.6-km section of the Trans-Canada trail is located near Oxford, Nova Scotia. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 6 h 5 min to complete and it's unlikely you'll encounter many other people while exploring. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime.
