ICE FIELDS PARKWAY, ALBERTA
The Icefields Parkway is a 232-kilometer double-lane highway and one of the world's most beautiful driving routes. The Parkway, which runs from Jasper to Lake Louise and is unlike any other, is dotted with over 100 ancient glaciers, cascading waterfalls, dramatic rock spires, emerald lakes, and expansive valleys that are covered in thick pine and larch forests. You'll be able to see wildlife at every turn in Banff National Park and Jasper National Park. Therefore, take your time, stop for a hike to a stunning viewpoint, take a stunning picture to share with friends, and have a roadside picnic in the pristine wilderness of the Canadian Rockies. SEA TO SKY HIGHWAY, BC
Make this drive if you are in the Vancouver area! One of Vancouver's most popular road trips is the Sea to Sky Highway, which connects Whistler and Vancouver in less than two hours. This is an excellent location to view the stunning west coast while driving along the coast. The Sea to Sky Highway is a stunning route that winds its way up into the snow-capped mountains of Whistler after passing along the shore of Howe Sound, an ocean fjord. You will pass through the town of Squamish on the way, which is great for outdoor activities and has world-class rock climbing, mountain biking, and hiking. DEMPSTER HIGHWAY, YUKON
The Dempster Highway has emerged as one of Canada's most original road trips due to its status as the country's only all-weather route that extends beyond the Arctic Circle. Nevertheless, this is not your typical highway. The Dempster Highway is a 700-kilometer, extremely remote dirt road that only has one service station in Eagle Plains, where you can also find lodging and a restaurant. Compared to the other road trips in this article, this one will be much more demanding on your vehicle and will require more planning. If you decide to head out on this adventure, you will be rewarded with breathtaking scenery and the opportunity to drive all the way to Tuktoyaktuk and the Arctic Ocean! LAKE SUPERIOR, ONTARIO
If you're in Northern Ontario, you must drive this route! The immense size of Lake Superior will make you feel as though you are driving alongside the ocean. Sault Ste. Marie, Lake Superior Provincial Park, Wawa, Sleeping Giant Provincial Park, Pukaskwa National Park, and Thunder Bay are among the most well-liked destinations. MONTREAL TO GASPÉ, QUEBEC
If you want to have fun in both the city and the country, this is a great road trip. This route takes you through a fantastic city like Montreal before taking you on a scenic drive through the Gaspe Peninsula. You'll travel along the St. Lawrence River from Montreal to Quebec City and up to the Gaspé Peninsula during this nine-hour journey. One of the best things to do in Nova Scotia is to take a scenic drive on the Cabot Trail, which is a must-do for anyone visiting the East Coast. The Cabot Trail, which hugs the coast of Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, has become one of the most well-known road trips in Canada and the most well-known road trip on the East Coast of Canada. This 300-kilometer road trip is ideal for people who enjoy breathtaking views and the ocean because most of it follows the coast. There are numerous spots to stop and take a hike as you travel through Cape Breton Highlands National Park.
